It was also through Gracehounds that I met Emma, my third dog. She had been with Gracehounds for a couple of months and after spending some time with her I realised that I had to take her home! Emma came to stay with me at the start of July 2010 and since then she has settled in brilliantly and is Lucy's best friend in the world! The two can often be seen curled up together. After Deacon passed in October 2013 we made the decision to get another rescue, and so along came Polly! She's a gorgeous wee thing, we think part whippet and part Saluki. We saw her at a local rescue centre and just had to bring her home. She's settling in nicely and loves having so many new doggy friends.
In 2008 I started working at a local boarding kennel. Through working here I have gained so much professional experience working with most breeds of dog - everything from miniature daschunds to giant newfoundlands!
