About the Business
I am 46 years old, and although I have worked in senior management most of my career, mainly for Mercedes Benz, I have owned animals all my life. My first introduction to working with animals was when I left school and trained to be a riding instructor at Markington in North Yorkshire training with olympic dressage riders, Chris & Jane Bartle, but dogs have always been my first love. My first dog was a Dobermann called Champion Autolander General. He won Best of Breed at Crufts for two years running and was one of the highest winning Dobermann in the Uk at that time. For the last 10 years I have been rescuing and rehabilitating Dobermann, and currently own four dogs. I have BHS Stage 1, 2 & 3 in Care & Riding plus AI teaching Certificate all of which carry a great deal of knowledge in animal first aid and welfare. My main reason for starting KELTY-DOGGY-WALKS is that I can appreciate not everyone thinks that it is possible to own a dog due to work commitments.
