About the Business
My name is Jo Bishop and I started Mogs and Dogs after running a successful pet services franchise in the area. I grew up with many different pets. As a child I loved nothing more than taking the dogs out for long runs in the country and exploring with them. Having always been passionate about animals, in 2009 I decided to take the plunge and make a career out of something I love and have never looked back. I am the proud owner of a Terrier/Spaniel cross named Freddie, together we have enjoyed taking part in many classes including obedience training, clicker training, agility and the kennel club good citizen training scheme. My passion for my own dog and interest in dog behaviour led me to further my knowledge through academic achievement. Already armed with a lifetime of hands on experience with an array of dogs and having read many books on training and dog behaviour I completed a diploma in canine science which I passed with a distinction.
