About the Business
My name is Dominic Hodgson and I run Pack leader Dog Adventures. I have been a dog owner for over 10 years and my current pack consists of Barry the Bordeaux and Flo the mongrel, not forgetting two growing boys and my wife Beth.
I worked for a ftse 100 company for many years and while it was enjoyable the highlight of my working day was popping home on a lunchtime to walk my dogs! It was time for a change. I have started this business to help people who love their dogs and want to provide the essential exercise their dogs need even when they are at work or are unable to walk their dogs through ill health. Regular walking with your own dog is something everyone should do but the average walk just won't allow your dog to burn off enough energy. A good exercise session is one where your dogs gets a minimum of 20 minutes fast, aerobic exercise (the kind that raises his heart rate and makes him pant) Daily exercise has been proven to help curb behavioural issues and relieve stress in dogs.
