Paws R Us offer Professional and Reliable Pet Care. We all have busy life’s and sometimes you need a little help with your furry friends. Here are Paws R Us we offer a variety of services that can be tailored to your pet’s needs. From daily or one-off dog walks, popping in to visit your dog or cat while you are away or pet sitting your animals from the comfort of your own home, we are here to help.

Our walkers and sitters are DBS checked and fully insured for your peace of mind. We also hold a Local Authority Licence for boarding. Large or small animals are welcome. We are a family run business located in Colchester and cover postcodes CO1, CO2, CO3, CO4, CO6. Please enquire if you fall outside these regions and we will do our best to help you.

Puppy & Kitten Care

Puppy & Kitten Care

We provide puppy and kitten visits while he/she is waiting for their jabs. This will include replacing wee-wee pads, clearing the litter tray, feeding and changing water, play time and lots of love and attention to help them settle while you are away.

If puppy is allowed out in your garden, we can let them out for playtime and some fresh air.

Once puppy is cleared for walks, we can introduce them to group or individual walks to aid in their socialisation. We will always work to your puppy's pace.

Cat Sitting

Cat Sitting

Our cat sitting service will allow your cat to stay in the comfort of its own home if you are going away on business or on holiday. We will visit your cat twice a day, where we will clean the litter tray, replace food and water, brushing, playtime and all the love and attention they need.

We will work with you to provide the best care package so you don't' need to worry about your furry friend while you are away.
Pet Sitting

Pet Sitting

Dog Sitting is a service for owners who would rather their dog stays in the comfort of their own home if you are going away for business or a holiday. We will visit your dog, replace food and water, take for walks as often as you would like and give them the love and attention they need while you are away.

For Dog sitting we provide 4 visits a day, early morning visit, 2 walks a day and late evening bedtime visit. We can cater your plan to fit in with your dog's needs.

We also offer a pop-in service for your dog. This will include replacing water and food, letting the dog out to the garden for fresh air, poop scooping the garden from any mess made and providing some love and attention to your dog. This is ideal for owners who do not want their dogs walked and to give the dog a break in the amount of time it is left alone.

We can also sit for other pets like birds, rabbits, hamsters or any other friendly creature you need cared for.

Additional visits and walks can be arranged.

Pet Taxi

Safely Transporting Your Precious Cargo.

We can transport your pet to the vets or groomers and return them safely home again. We use car crates and In-car harnesses are also provided for your dog’s safety. Each dog is different so whichever method your dog prefers, we should have it covered.


Dog Walking

Individually or in groups, we will match your dog with buddies he/she enjoys walking with based on temperament and personality. Dogs will always be kept on lead unless written permission is given and only when we are confident the dog will recall. We provide our own dog harness for extra peace of mind.

We will always aim to walk your dog in parks to give them the mental stimulation as well as the physical benefits. Dogs will be cleaned/towel dried after each walk and fresh water given.

We are available 363 days of the year. Please enquire about Christmas Day and New Year's Day availability.

Paws R Us looked after my cat for a week, when i went on holiday to Clacton, and i came back to a very happy kitty, who had his claws clipped and been washed.
