About the Business
Jeff started training as a young boy, entering the various family dogs into local dog shows, and has been involved with dogs all his life.
He began his career in pet dog training when he and his wife Miranda created Sussex Pet Sitters, now believed to be the largest pet-sitting / walking business in the south. The need for qualified professionals to help clients with the training process was evident from the start, and whilst Jeff still worked in management he looked to expand his knowledge taking training classes in a club with a respected local dog trainer. Whilst training people in his previous job, it became quite apparent as to how similar motivation and reward based training in people, could easily be adapted for dogs. Jeff then spent the next few years studying positive-reinforcement training in dogs, and now puts to use these theories whilst training Agility, Obedience and Search and Rescue dogs.
